It was a perfect day for Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori who won their third title of the season and moved one step closer to the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.

The final of the China Open, an ATP 500 staged on the concrete of Beijing'Olympic Green Tennis Center (hard – prize money of $3,720,165), è was won in a comeback by the two Azzurri, who won 4-6 6-3 10-5 over Wimbledon champions Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, the former from Finland and the latter from Britain, seventh in the Doubles Race.
