Skip the first bench in Serie B 2024-2025. Through a note issued on its official channels, Cremonese has announced the exoneration of Giovanni Stroppa as first team coach.

"U.S. Cremonese announces that it has relieved Mr. Giovanni Stroppa from the technical leadership of the first team. The grigiorosso club wishes to thank the’coach and his staff for the seriousnessà, professionalismà and passion demonstrated in the daily work carried out since their arrival in Cremona" this is the statement issued by the Lombard club.

The’former Monza coach leaves the team in seventh place with 11 points to its credit and a haul of 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats.

Cremonese è already looking for Giovanni Stroppa’s replacement ahead of the resumption of the championship against Juve Stabia. The main candidate to become the new coach would be Eugenio Corini. Moreù defiled, instead, are the profiles of Davide Ballardini and Aurelio Andreazzoli.
