Great expectations in Merano for the trial of the hedge runners

This Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Merano racecourse in South Tyrol, è a trial for 3-year-old hedgehorses is scheduled, foretold exciting and uncertain in the prediction. The Merano racecourse highlights the relationship with the area and in the tourist-media relevance of Merano. In this regard, the South Tyrolean city is preparing to host a major event: the Merano WineFestival.

The event è scheduled as per an established tradition in the first part of November. This year the 33rd edition will take place from Friday, November 8 to Tuesday, November 12. At the press conference on Tuesday, Oct. 22, Helmuth Köcher (The WineHunter and President Merano WineFestival), Daniela Zadra (Director Tourist Board Merano) and Angelo Carrillo (Slow Food South Tyrol) will speak online, outlining the new features of the Wine Festival.

Characterized by the opening day (Nov. 8) dedicated to organic and biodynamic wines with «Naturae et Purae» from Nov. 9 to 11 the festival: 500 Italian and foreign wineries will present wines selected by WineHunter commissions; finally on Nov. 12 closing with the Catwalk Champagne.
