Novak Djokovic: more trouble, fans frozen
Former world number one Novak Djokovic will not play in Davis Cup
Another waiver for Novak Djokovic: the Serbian tennis player has made it official that he will skip the Davis Cup round for “personal reasons.” The former world number one, who continues a truly bitter 2022 in which his only highlight was winning Wimbledon, will not play against Serbia in the Davis Cup round in Valencia.
These are the words of the captain of the Slavic national team, Victor Troicki: “He will not play for personal reasons. He has been there for the national team countless times, but this time he just can’t. If we can get through the tournament he might join us in Malaga in November.”
