Rather bizarre what happened within the ranks of Fluminense: Marcelo argued with coach Mano Menezes in the final of the match against Gremio and, in the hours following the challenge, decided to leave the club.
In the final minutes of the match against Gremio, Menezes decided to insert Marcelo who, visibly displeased, challenged his coach’s decision. Moments before he was to enter the field, Menezes had second thoughts and sent him to the bench. "I heard something I didn’t è like" he justified after the game.
