Zverev returns #2 but speaks out on Jannik Sinner

Alexander Zverev is ending his 2024 on a high note: the German tennis player triumphed in the last Masters 1000 of the season in Paris-Bercy, overcoming Humbert in the final and regaining the number 2 spot in the ATP rankings over Carlos Alcaraz.

Zverev, who added in the palmarés his seventh career Masters 1000, thus comes to Turin in great condition and as the most dangerous rival for Jannik Sinner for the final ATP Finals victory: the German tennis player è ahead in the direct clashes over the South Tyrolean, who byò won the last challenge between the two in Cincinnati.

Zverev will nonetheless land in Turin as the second favorite.

Many have praised his growth, including rival Stefanos Tsitsipas, who called him the tennis player who has most improved this year. An opinion that però does not find Zverev himself agree: "The mostù improved? I think Jannik Sinner has something to say about that…".

"I try, I work on myself, I try different things, that è for sure. Tennis doesn’t stop, you have to keep looking for ways to improve. You see how Jannik and Carlos are playing now, tennis is becoming soì fast and aggressive that you have to look for ways to improve your game".
