ATP Finals Turin, Jannik Sinner’s first opponent decided

The wait's almost over. Jannik Sinner&#39s Turin campaign will begin on Sunday, Nov. 10, more or less at dinnertime.

The world No. 1, drawn in the Nastase Group with Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Alex De Minaur, will make his debut against the Australian, in his first appearance, in the last match of the first day of the ATP Finals, scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

Opening the group will instead be the match between Medvedev and U.S. Fritz. On Monday, the 11th, however, it will be the turn of the Newcombe Group, pitting Spain&#39s Carlos Alcaraz against Norway&#39s Casper Ruud at 2 p.m., and in the evening, at 8:30 p.m. with Germany&#39s Alexander Zverev opposing the other Russian on the draw, Russian Andrey Rublev.

Monday will also be the debut day of the Italian pair Bolelli/Vavassori, drawn in the Bob Bryan Group, opposing their first opponents, the Indian-Australian doubles Bopanna/Ebden, match scheduled at 6 p.m.

Rai, which has acquired the exclusive free-to-air broadcast rights for Italy of the ATP Finals, will broadcast all the matches of Sinner and the Italian doubles on Rai 2, with commentary by Marco Fiocchetti and Adriano Panatta, while in the studio, with Cristina Caruso, will be Rita Grande and Omar Camporese, with Maurizio Fanelli busy on the sidelines and in pre and post match interviews and Alessandro Fabretti in the role of team leader.
