Coach Banchi spoke after the Madrid game lost by his Virtus Bologna: “Congratulations to Real. To win today we had to be perfect, in the first half we played a’very good game, but in the second Real put on talent and physicality, and we struggled to put on the same level of intensity’".

"Real played with flow and found a really inspired evening, they played a very solid game. But I think we have to be more consistent and focused for the whole game to win games like this, and find wins that are not too far to come. This è the schedule, we cannot think too much about this game. We have to think about the positives, and work on the negatives.”

Closing remark on the rumor of Cordinier to Real: "They are gossips, they are always around us and I cannot control them. Since the’summer, there is always talk about some of us leaving.
