ATP Finals: Anna Kalinskaya è further from Turin

As is natural, Jannik Sinner è is completely focused on the ATP Finals in Turin, scheduled for Nov. 10-17. The South Tyrolean, on whom hangs the now famous sword of Damocles, is aiming to realize his dream of winning the prestigious Masters title in front of his home crowd, thus ending a memorable 2024 for both him and Italian tennis in style. 

Meanwhile, però, from the Inalpi Arena, where the super-tournament is being held, extra-sports interests are also bouncing around: the Russian media and correspondents are curious about Sinner’s private life and, of course, in particular about his relationship with Moscow tennis player Anna Kalinskaya.

According to what can be perceived from talking to his compatriots, it seems that Kalinskaya does not like to be identified as “the champion’s girlfriend” but that she would like to be more appreciated for what she is showing on the court and on her improvements, including in ranking. 

Anna’s recent social media posts show her attending social events in Moscow, and not è expected in Turin for the ATP Finals: barring any sensational last-minute twists and turns, we won’t see her in the pits supporting her boyfriend. But in the meantime, the days pass…
