The absence of Anna Kalinskaya from the stands of the Inalpi Arena is certainly not a mystery: already in the first days of the ATP Finals the absence of the Russian tennis player, who is therefore not following the exploits of Jannik Sinner for the time being, had been recorded. No mystery però as to where she is these days: in fact, Kalinskaya removed all doubt with a story posted on Instagram.

In fact, the 25-year-old from Moscow, in the Italian evening on Monday, posted a very short video in which she smiles at the lens, accompanied with the words "Hello Miami". It's therefore in South Florida that Anna Kalinskaya is spending these days of relaxation, arrived after a tennis season as intense as it is full of satisfaction.

Two WTA titles missed by Kalinskaya this season: in the WTA 1000 in Dubai, where she was defeated by Italian Jasmine Paolini 4-6, 7-5, 7-5, and in the Berlin Open, where instead it was Jessica Pegula who prevailed 6-7(0), 6-4, 7-6(3). Still, useful results at the ranking level, where the Russian ended the year in 11th place.

This season, by the way, the 1998-class tennis player achieved her best result in all four Grand Slam tournaments: she reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, the second round at Roland Garros, the fourth round at Wimbledon and the third round at the US Open.
