Brindisi tile, new question about Niccolò De Vico’s return
Niccolò De Vico, the outcome of instrumental tests
Valtur Brindisi will have to do without Niccolò De Vico for an indefinite period, with next update on the 1994 basketball player's condition expected in ten days. That's what can be deduced from the note published by the biancoazzurro club, following the medical exams on which the player who arrived in Puglia after his experience in Turin underwent.
"It is announced that the instrumental examinations to which è athlete Niccolò De Vico underwent showed an oedema of bone from overload of the right knee – reads the club note -. The player will have to observe a period of rest and physical therapy and will be re-evaluated with new instrumental examinations in ten days".
Coach Piero Bucchi will therefore have to do without until the end of the month, thus in the home games against Assigeco Piacenza and Pesaro. Unlikely even a return for the away game in Rimini next Dec. 1, possible to work for the challenge against Orzinuovi scheduled at PalaPentassuglia on Immaculate Conception Day.
Brindisi's start to the season has been complicated, to say the least: in 11 games, Bucchi’s team has scored just six points, the result of three wins (against Forlì, JuVi Cremona and Udine) and eight losses, the last of which came last Thursday at home to Urania Milano, which was able to impose itself 74-63.
