Paolo Campinoti celebrates Jorge Martin by revealing a backstory

Day of celebration at Pramac Racing after Jorge Martin’s MotoGP World Championship victory. Paolo Campinoti, owner of the Pramac team, also did not hold back his enthusiasm to the microphones of Sky Sport: "Let’s say that this result è a little bit more amazing than the one in 2023, last year we did a great job and this year we won the World Championship. As a Pramac team we believe very much in human values and è the’union between reason and feeling that makes the difference with the search for’balance".

"Bagnaia and Martin are great guys, expressing exceptional values. They are fair, loyal and the proof is the first laps of the Sepang GP. With other riders it would have been more complicated, instead they fought with respect. Today Jorge won against Pecco, who è a great person and a great pilot".

"The start and the’last lap tested me,” the Tuscan manager later admitted. “Anything could have happened. Falling on the’last lap would have been a major pain in the ass. Seeing all this affection from the paddock made me happy, because it’means we sowed some good relationships. In fact, I am very happy about it all.

He then revealed a backstory about the new world champion: "When Jorge did not goò to the Ducati Factory team he was sad, since Ducati preferred him; Bastianini. He called me and said: “Boss, don’t worry, we will make history. In the end it was 4 beautiful years".

Just words of thanks for Ducati: "I always said it from the beginning: with Ducati I have a great relationship, they behaved like gentlemen and è a great company. If they got to this level è thanks to the great work and at the same time also thanks to the sweat that Pramac spit. Obviously if we are here è thanks to them".

"È true, now he will goà to Aprilia from Rivola, but we’ll get him back in two years anyway. He cannot` be without  us"” Campinoti commented on the future of Jorge Martin.
