Having contributed in Italy's victory in the Billie Jean King Cup è only the last step in a year to remember for Jasmine Paolini, who closed her 2024 from the competitive point of view with the certainty of her own position in the WTA Top 5, an Olympic gold medal shared with Sara Errani and two Slam finals played in singles, in addition to the one in doubles (also with Errani) at Roland Garros.
A series of achievements, to which must then be added the successes in the WTA Masters in Dubai in singles and in the tournaments in Linz, Rome and Beijing in doubles, which led Paolini to publicly thank all those who, from near and far, have helped her and her BJK Cup teammates to reach the highest level of the sport.

The post garnered thousands of likes in a matter of minutes, among which the one from Darren Cahill, Jannik Sinner’s supercoach, did not go unnoticed.
Other sportsmen and women who have expressed their support under the post include former Roma coach Daniele De Rossi and high jump champion Gianmarco Tamberi, testifying to the increasingly transversal success of the racket discipline also thanks to the great successes of female athletes from the Bel Paese.
