Willi Orban, midfielder of Leipzig, spoke to the microphones of Gazzetta dello Sport on the eve of the Champions League match against Inter: " one of the strongest teams in the Champions League. I particularly focus on Lautaro Martinez, on whom we should defend as a team. But all their players are strong, so it will be a very complicated engagement and a great challenge for all of us". 

"Certainly they have very experienced players, especially from the international point of view – added the captain of the Germans -. We have a mixture between more structured players and absolutely talented youngsters. The path our club has decided to take è is very clear. We want to win, but also to bring some young people to be among the best players in Europe. In recent years we have succeeded quite well".

Marco Rose’s men are still running out of points in the Champions League: "The negative results depend on a few factors: the first games, with Atletico, Juve and Liverpool were complicated. Yet we could have gotten a few more points for what we did. With Celtic we did not perform as we usually do. We had many absences of players who are also important for the mentalityà that they transmit. But we are not giving up and with Inter we will give 100 percent".

One of the four defeats è came at home against Juventus, which overturned the result in numerical inferiority: "The match had been on the right track, then forò they were impressive for the cynicism they showed".

"It is often the details that make the difference. Obviously the goal has to be to win, but I think even getting to the semifinals or finals is already a great achievement. We challenged Psg in the semifinals in 2020; these are matches for which we train daily for years. Giving our best in every league round to still be able to qualify for the Champions" concluded Orban.
