Genoa, new stop for Junior Messias
There is no peace for Junior Messias. After the two game spurts against Cagliari and Udinese, the Brazilian outfielder missed the match with Torino due to a new physical problem. The instrumental examinations to which the Genoa player underwent, in fact, showed a calf muscle strain.
The former Milan player will remain in the pits for this final 2024 and also for the beginning of 2025. The hope of Grifone coach Patrick Viera would be to recover the player for the Castellani match against Empoli scheduled on Jan. 11.
Ahead of the next match against AC Milan, however, the Rossobl's coach could recover Caleb Ekuban, while we still have to wait for the returns of Koni De Winter and Jeff Ekhator.
