Nicola Brienza and Beppe Bosa awarded in Campione d’Italia

The Ballroom of the Casinò di Campione d’Italia hosted the Grand Galà Christmas Awards 2024. In the presence of authorities and the club’s sponsors, the host couple composed of Eva Gini and Mino Taveri called to the stage the winners of the awards that the society has devised to honor the protagonists of Como’s sports and social world.
The “Personality of the’year” è went to Confindustria Como, in the figure of its president Gianluca Brenna, for the’attention shown to the development of the territory.
Winning the awards with nominations were Nicola Brienza, who è won the “Basketball Award” overtaking Riccardo Chinellato and Sofia Frustaci.
The “Sports Award” è went to Como 1907, which overcame competition from Gabriel Soares and Andrea Colombo while the “Sports Award with Social Purpose” è was awarded to the Gli Azzurrini Academy project, with the other two awards in the same category going to Sport Abilty and Tennis Como.
Also on stage were Beppe Bosa, honored for his career in biancoblù and the winners of the two special awards: Panathlon Como and Il Gabbiano di Cantù.
Before the concluding dinner, the club also wanted to pay tribute to Enzo Giani, a longtime biancoblù doctor who passed away at the beginning of the year, by making the first donation for the scholarship established in his memory.
