Empoli, Ola Solbakken underwent shoulder surgery

Ola Solbakken, Empoli's Norwegian striker on loan from Roma, è underwent surgery following a dislocated left shoulder suffered last week during a training session.

The surgery, performed by Prof. Giuseppe Porcellini, in the presence of the Empoli medical staff, at the Casa di Cura Madre Fortunata Toniolo in Bologna, è was perfectly successful with the player who will begin in the coming days the rehabilitation path that will last several weeks.

Ola Solbakken, 26, è arrived in Italy in January 2023, to be exact at Roma, coming from Bodo/Glimt, with the Giallorossii he put together 15 appearances and 1 goal. In August è he was sold on loan to’Olympiacos, then to the Japanese Urawa Reds and finally, as of this season, to’Empoli.

With the Tuscans so far he has made 9 appearances and no goals in the league, plus one more appearance in the Coppa Italia. In the national team, from 2021 to 2023, he has collected 11 appearances and 1 goal.
