Roberto Mancini returns on his farewell to the national team
Thusì Roberto Mancini, in an exclusive interview with Tg1, responds to a question about his farewell to the Italian national team; “I would not make that choice again. For technical reasons, for soccer reasons, because coaching the national team è the most beautiful thing. No, I would not do it again".
"Perhaps we did not understand each other, maybe if we had talked a little more it would have gone differently – added the former coach, referring to Figc president Gabriele Gravina – but I have nothing against the president".
"Moreù attentive to money than to the jersey? My story speaks for me, those who don't know it just go and read it and then they can" talk", said Mancini again, who then said he had no contact with other clubs after leaving the Saudi Arabia bench.
”No one has contacted me, but something will come, è just a matter of time". Finally, a message for friend Gianluca Vialli who passed away almost two years ago: "I hope he is well. We all really miss him”.
