If Spain managed to qualify by overcoming Finland in a comeback with a great second half, it did not go so well for Greece, which was eliminated absolutely by surprise by Germany.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, nervous and inaccurate despite scoring 31 points, was ejected for double unsportsmanlike conduct with five minutes left.
Deprived of its star, the Hellenic team, given by many as sure finalists, raised the white flag, coming out defeated 107-96.
