Basketball, A Series: the decisions of the Sports Judge

One-shift stop for Tornike 'Toko' Shengelia of Virtus Bologna and for the coach of Trieste, Jamion Christian, court disqualification for Givova Scafati and fine for GeVi Napoli: these are, in a nutshell, the disciplinary measures taken by the Federbasket Sports Judge regarding the Serie A matches played on March 15 and 16.

Below, in detail, is the explanation of the individual measures:
GIVOVA SCAFATI. Disqualification of the court for one game for invasion of the field of play by an isolated individual who engaged in offensive behavior toward the third referee; individual promptly removed for the prompt intervention of the’referee and security officers [art.29,3A RG rec., art. 24,4 RG].

NAPOLIBASKET. Fine € 1,666.00 for offenses, collective and frequent, against the referees and a clearly identified opposing member [art. 27,4bd RG rec., art. 28,3 RG, art. 24,4 RG].
TORNIKE SHENGELIA (athlete VIRTUS PALL. BOLOGNA). Disqualified for one game for attempting to assault an opposing athlete, a fact that did not escalate due to the prompt intervention of his own teammates [art. 33,2/1e RG, art. 24,2b RG].

JAMION AUGUSTUS CHRISTIAN (Head Coach PALLACANESTRO TRIESTE 2004). Disqualified for one game for protesting behavior, which resulted in his expulsion. [art. 32,3 RG rec.,art. 24,4 RG].
