Although mathematics still gives chances, the challenge awaiting the Monza on Saturday at 3 p.m., with the Brianzoli hosting Como at the U-Power Stadium’U-Power Stadium, smacks of a last call for salvation. Alessandro Nesta’s team has collected 15 points in 30 games and desperately needs to regain a success that has been missing since Jan. 13. On the other side, however, there&#8217s a Como side itself eager to win after a period with little satisfaction.

The former Lazio and Milan defender will not be able to count on Andrea Carboni and Kevin Zeroli, stopped by injury. In the 3-5-2 that is expected to take the field, the attack will be entrusted to Dany Mota and Keita Baldé, while on the sides of the midfield, combining defensive and offensive phases, should be Birindelli on the right and Kyriakopoulos on the left. Akpa-Apro will, in all likelihood, be the central midfield.

In the Como household there&#8217s moderate optimism: the’only absentee is the “long-suffering” Dossena, while in attack Nico Paz is back, who will make up the three-quarter of the Larians along with Strefezza and Diao, behind central forward Douvikas. The all-French midfield will be entrusted to Da Cunha and Caqueret, while in defense Goldaniga and Kempf are expected to be used as centerbacks.

Probable lineups

MONZA (3-5-2): Turati; Pereira, Izzo, D’Ambrosio; Birindelli, Castrovilli, Akpa-Akpro, Bianco, Kyriakopoulos; Mota, Baldé. All. Nesta.
