At the end of the current season, De Bruyne will officially leave Manchester City. The Belgian midfielder has already made it known that these will be his last games with the English club. After 10 years with the Citizens, the 33-year-old De Bruyne has decided to get back into the game elsewhere.

A lot of Italian clubs have reportedly already tried to come forward (Juventus has also been rumored to be interested), trying to figure out whether or not there are conditions to bring the Belgian to Italy. Unfortunately, according to ESPN, the midfielder’s future is expected to be in MLS. Specifically, there is talk of a deal with Inter Miami’Inter.

Last summer, De Bruyne had already been approached in the MLS but, in the end, had remained in the Premier League, at Manchester City. This could be the right time. At Inter Miami he would play alongside Lionel Messi, his opponent, in Europe, for so many years.

The’arrival of De Bruyne in MLS would also be a major media coup. Still considered a player of the highest technical value, he could help the top American soccer league grow further. Clearly, Inter Miami will first have to find the’financial agreement with De Bruyne, soon to be a free agent and looking for one last major contract in his career.
