Ferrari, Charles Leclerc responds in kind to allegations

Intervening at the microphones of “Sky Sport F1″ during the media day ahead of the’upcoming weekend in Bahrain, the driver of the Ferrari Charles Leclerc, among other topics covered, wanted to respond in tone to recent market rumors related to a possible break between him and the Scuderia di Maranello.
“I did not quite understand where these rumors about an alleged falling out between ,e and Ferrari came from. I reiterate what I said in Suzuka and there are no negative things: there’s a direction I took that I found very interesting to work in and I want to keep pushing toward that situation” began the Monegasque driver.
“There is no truth in what I have seen and read about the fact that I would be going in a different direction than the team. We are all here to try to maximize the potential of the car and if I am comfortable putting the car in a different place, then it is good for everyone” added Charles Leclerc.
After the disqualification in Australia, the Ferrari driver, between China and Japan, collected only 20 points that earned him the sixth position in the standings at -42 from the world leader Lando Norris.
