A'hot summer on Sky Sports, much more with tennis

Sky Sport

It will be a very hot summer on Sky Sports with tennis in the spotlight with Wimbledon, exclusively, and the US Open, in addition to a series of no less than 42 tournaments, not forgetting of course the Internazionali BNL d’Italia kicking off Wednesday in Roma: 13 days of challenges on the courts of the Foro Italico, with all matches live and the expected return of Jannik Sinner.

Between the expected events beyond tennis, the final rounds of the European Soccer Cups, with the UEFA Champions League semifinal between Inter Milan and Barcelona scheduled for tonight, and the decisive challenges expected at the end of the month: the title of Europe’s top competition is awarded in Munich on May 31, all live on Sky, as well as the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League finals on May 21 and 28 in Bilbao and Wroclaw, respectively, in addition to the UEFA Super Cup final on August 13 in Udine. Without losing sight of national and international championships: on May 21 the last day in the Bundesliga, on May 28 the final rush in Serie A and Premier League, and in June the decisive challenges in Serie C.

And this is just the beginning: the thrills of motorsports continue, among the absolute stars of the summer thanks to the 21 Grand Prix of Formula 1 and MotoGP (in addition to all the Superbike rounds and much more), with many Italian stages between Imola, Mugello, Monza and Misano.

Basketball is also in the spotlight: titles are awarded in Turkish Airlines Euroleague and NBA, while the women’s European Championship (June 18-29) and men’s European Championship (Aug. 27-Sept. 14) are approaching. For rugby, it’s time for international matches, with the South Africa-Italy doubleheader in July and many spectacular test matches. Then the most exciting track and field meets, up to the Diamond League finals in Zurich at the end of August, volleyball with the men’s Champions League Final Four from May 16-18 in Poland, as well as the most legendary golf tournaments, from the PGA Championship to the U.S. Open, from the Italian Open to The Open Championship, and on to the Ryder Cup scheduled for September. The House of Sports will also feature the spectacle of karate, with the European Championships staged on May 10 and 11, the World Judo Championships (June 13-20), Premier Padel tournaments, MLB baseball, and much more.

To all this is added the return of Calciomercato – L’Originale on tour and the great Original Sky Sport Productions dedicated to soccer with Federico Buffa, Giorgio Porrà and Paolo Di Canio.
