Angel Di Maria returns to Argentina

Angel Di Maria is returning home. After bidding farewell to Benfica, the 37-year-old starts again with Rosario Central, the club where everything made its professional debut and which has made official the signing of the fans’ favorite.
“So good to be back home, one of the happiest days of our lives” Di Maria’s words on social media. Central is the Argentine’s home team, which he left in 2007 to fly to Europe: Benfica, his first club in the Old Content.
He then wore the jerseys of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus to finish again with the Portuguese team from 2023 to the season just ended. And now the return to his native Argentina.
