Lazio, anxiety rises for Ciro Immobile
Anxiety increases for the biancoceleste striker
Lazio bomber Ciro Immobile left the Italian national team’s training camp to return to Rome, where he was checked again by the Capitoline club’s medical staff.
In particular, on Monday, Sept. 26, the Campania-born striker underwent new instrumental examinations to verify the injury suffered with Italy, which did not allow him to take the field against England in the Nations League match, later won 1-0 by the Azzurri.
“The medical staff of S.S. Lazio announces that the player Ciro Immobile underwent clinical and instrumental examinations at Paideia International Hospital today. The player has already started the specific treatment of the case and will undergo daily clinical monitoring. Further instrumental examinations will be repeated in the coming days to quantify the recovery time,” reads the note from the biancoceleste club.
Author of a brace in the last Serie A round with Cremonese, the Campania striker remains in strong doubt for the home match against Spezia.
