Varese Basketball has a new center: Maximilian Ladurner

Through an official note, Varese Basketball has announced the’acquisition of Maximilian Ladurner, a 207-centimeter center class of 2001 who last year wore the Turin jersey in A2.
Ladurner is a modern center with excellent technique and capable of using his physique both on offense and defense, where he has always shown good solidity. This is a return to the top league for him after his experience with Trento from 2020 to 2023.
“We are happy that Ladurner will be part of our team for the next and subsequent seasons – said general manager Maksim Horowitz -In the last two years played in A2, and in the previous experience in Trento in Serie A, he always showed all his talent. In our process, Maximilian was our first choice so we are happy to have reached an agreement with him. We look forward to welcoming him here in Varese for his first training sessions with Coach Kastritis and his staff”.
Max Ladurner was born in Merano on December 6, 2001 and developed basketball in the Dolomiti Energia Basketball Academy, a youth program of Aquila Basket Trento, with which he won, in 2019, the Next Gen Cup. The following year, at just 18 years old, he made his First Team debut with the HCL jersey in both LBA and EuroCup, accumulating more and more experience and showing a constant evolution both in terms of statistics and impact in the game. His growth is made even more evident in his subsequent experiences in A2 accrued first with the Cento jersey and then with that of Torino, a formation with which he finished last season at 5.1 points and 3 rebounds billed in an average of 16 minutes per game.
Ladurner also wore the Italbasket jersey participating in two European Under 18 championships in 2018 and 2019 and an Under 20 European Challenger in 2021
