MotoGp, new chance for Tetsuta Nagashima
Nagashima in place of Nakagami at Buriram
After a bitter debut at Motegi last Sunday, Tetsuta Nagashima has a new chance: the Honda rider will ride in place of Takaaki Nagami in the Thai Grand Prix.
Nakagami, in fact, underwent checks Tuesday morning and was diagnosed with a tear in his little finger tendon. The Japanese rider will undergo further surgery on Friday and hopes to return for the Australian Grand Prix, pending further evaluation.
These are Nagashima’s words, “First of all, I wish Taka well and hope he can return as soon as possible. I will try to do my best in his place for LCR Honda IDEMITSU Team and try to enjoy the race.
I am looking forward to the event this weekend. I had a lot of fun at the Japanese GP and learned a lot. This weekend I want to continue to do the same because I still need to learn a lot of things with MotoGP.”
