L’Atalanta, after Gasperini’s farewell, is literally changing its skin. The club is revolutionizing the roster, trying to monetize as much as possible and, in parallel, guarantee the new coach Juric a quality team.

The Dea is about to give up another pawn by the pound. It is about Ruggeri. Raised in the orbico club&#8217s youth academy, the defender did not have much space in the last season and is now about to pack his bags. Experience in La Liga awaits him, at Atletico Madrid. Atalanta will get 20 million euros, plus several possible bonuses.

Yet another excellent transfer that will bring a major capital gain to Atalanta. Now, however, there’s to reckon with the Lookman case. The Nigerian star, in Bergamo since 2022, seems close to the end of his adventure with La Dea. Many top teams have inquired about Lookman. L’Atalanta, should it let him go, would only do so for a significant sum.

In order not to be left holding the bag, the Orobic club would have already found Lookman&#8217s heir. It is Sulemana, a talented 2002 class coming out of Southampton. According to Sky Sport, negotiations are reportedly at a good point with Atalanta ready to put 17 million euros on the table for the Ghanaian center forward (four-year deal). His arrival could indeed mean Lookman’s transfer. Developments are awaited.
