Juventus: Weah's agent blurts out, transfer now complicated

It gets damn complicated Weah’s move to Nottingham Forest (along with Mbangula for a take of about 22/24 million euros). The negotiation seemed close to the classic white smoke and, instead, everything came to a standstill after Sambague, the American’s agent, made it known that he is not at all happy with the way Juventus is treating his client.
“Weah is a fantastic player and a fantastic teammate. To see people behaving like this for money and selfishness has disappointed me a lot. It is a disgrace” his statements to USMNT and reported by Fabrizio Romano. A decidedly strong stance and a harsh attack on the Juventus club.
The prosecutor then added: “In any case, until I am here, no one can treat one of the players I deal with by sending him to the right or left as if he were a puppet. I am happy that Timo has an excellent education and an important personality that allows him to stay focused on games”.
In short, no small problem for the Bianconeri management, which had by then settled almost everything with Nottingham Forest for the transfer of Weah (no longer central to Tudor’s project). The money from the sale of Weah is needed for other market operations. At the moment, everything is on stand-by.
