Jorge Martin, the ordeal continues and the comeback slips again

Aprilia has stepped in to update on the recovery of reigning MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin. Still to be determined, in essence, the date of the return of the Spaniard, who will not take part in the German GP scheduled in about two weeks, the eleventh round of the 2025 season.


“Dr. Xavier Mir’s report regarding the scaphoid – reads the note – the clinical course is good, with almost complete mobility of the scaphoid. At the moment, bone consolidation is not yet 100 percent complete, but the healing process is progressing positively, despite the fact that the repair is not yet completely complete”.

And again: “Dr. Angel Charte report regarding rib fractures: there is significant improvement in the fracture sites of most left rib injuries. Despite significant progress, some fractures have not yet fully consolidated. The’evolution is very positive and, on this basis, another two weeks are needed for complete healing”.

“A private visit for further evaluation is scheduled early next week. Participation in the German GP is ruled out” ends the statement.
