Club World Cup 2025: Palmeiras-Chelsea, the likely lineups

Saturday at 3 a.m. Palmeiras will take on Chelsea in the quarterfinal match of the Club World Cup. The match will be played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia: large attendance is expected in the stands.
Abel Ferreira will rely mainly on the talent of Estevao, who will act in the trident complemented by Allan and Vitor Roque. Behind them will be Rios, Martinez and Mauricio. Between the posts Weverton, four-man defensive line composed of Mayke, Giay, Bruno Fuchs and Vanderlan.
Enzo Maresca wants to bring home another trophy after the Conference League and to do so he will have to win against Palmeiras. The coach is expected to line up the Blues with a 4-3-3. In defense James, Colwill, Badiashile and Cucurella will have to shield Sanchez, in midfield space for Enzo, Lavia and Caicedo. Forward Neto, Delap and Palmer will have the task of unhinging the opponent’s defense.
