Jannik Sinner-Matteo Berrettini: the road to the Atp Finals passes through Vienna
Sinner and Berrettini will participate in the Atp 500 tournament in Vienna
The tennis season is winding down, but Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini are still in the running to land a spot among the magnificent eight who will take part in the Atp Finals in Turin.
The two blues are therefore planning to take advantage of the October and early November tournaments to participate in the season-ending tournament, joining the already qualified Alcaraz, Nadal, Tsitsipas and Ruud.
The Roman tennis player and the South Tyrolean appear on the entry list for the Atp 500 Vienna, scheduled in the Austrian capital from Oct. 24 to Nov. 30, in which other big names including Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Cameron Norrie and Andrej Rublev will also participate.
The term Atp (Association of Tennis Professionals) refers to the association that brings together all male professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The Atp’s primary task is to protect the interests of the players and also to organize essential services, such as, for example, the drafting of the world rankings, called the Atp rankings, and the scheduling of tournaments.
