Friendlies: Roma overwhelmed by Aston Villa, Como beats Betis

The first defeat came for Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma in a friendly match. At Walsall’s Bescot Stadium, in fact, the Giallorossi were decisively defeated by Aston Villa, which imposed itself with a resounding 4-0.
An awful two from the Villans between 15′ and 17′ with goals from Buendia on a free kick and Ramsey. At the end of the first half Watkins drops the hat trick with a header. In the second half there’s also room for the Englishmen’s poker, sealed by Malen with five minutes to go.
Continues to win, however, Como, which also beat Betis (3-2) at the Estadio Municipal Ciudad de La Linea in Cadiz. The Larians, who ended the first half ahead 2-0, let themselves be caught up at 2-2, before finding the winning goal in mid-recovery.
Commasks ahead after only 4 minutes with Diao. At 36′ Da Cunha signed the double before a brawl broke out just before halftime that cost Perrone and Fornals expulsion. In the second half Isco on a penalty kick and Junior Firpo brought the Spaniards back to life. On 93′ however, Como went ahead again with Azon, who gave Cesc Fabregas’ men the victory.
