Ducati: Tardozzi dictates the line, warned Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini
“The interest of team and company comes first,” Ducati executive’s warning to Bastianini and Bagnaia
Pecco Bagnaia is 18 points behind Fabio Quartararo with four races left in the MotoGp World Championship, and Ducati can no longer indulge in missteps like the one at Motegi or “fratricidal duels” like at Aragon. Factory team manager Davide Tardozzi was clear after free practice in Thailand, as was his warning to Ducati riders (especially Enea Bastianini) about team play and possible team orders.
“We seek absolute honesty for the riders, however, the interest of a team and a company comes first – are the words to Sky by Tardozzi -. We hope to have found solutions in the wet for Pecco Bagnaia. This morning he was not happy with the response of the bike’s delivery, he worked on the maps, then there was something wrong with the clutch, but a matter of details.”
