Party wild with Marc Marquez, Michele Pirro and Ducati team end up under indictment

The Ducati soul is split down the middle this season: on the one hand the joy for the supremacy of Marc Marquez, now launched towards his ninth world title, on the other the bitterness for the disastrous season of Pecco Bagnaia, who experienced in Austria perhaps the darkest chapter of his experience with the Borgo Panigale company.
On Instagram, test rider Michele Pirro posted several photos of the party in the pits with Marc Marquez and the entire Ducati team following the Catalan rider: the hugs, the toasts, the group photo. A series of pictures that was not digested by several users, who perhaps resented Bagnaia’s simultaneous crisis and targeted Pirro for his enthusiasm.
“All this enthusiasm when Bagnaia was winning 11 races last year was not seen, even kissing the fairing with 93, maybe too much no?”, “It would be nice to see a minimum of gratitude instead of celebrating Marquez’s races as if they were world championships”, “All good on the winner’s bandwagon! A GP25 that works with only one rider? There is little to be proud of”, “Help Pecco, instead think only of Marc Marquez”.
Critical comments are dozens: “Embarrassing the treatment of Bagnaia. In hindsight, I have to agree as well with Dovizioso and what he said in 2020 about you right here in Austria”, “Pecco l’have you abandoned him?”, “You are like flags, you go where the wind pulls”. There was no shortage of defensive posts either: Ducati fans are split down the middle.
