Fuligni discovers, Corsi pounces

Two weeks after Jerez de la Frontera and the four points collected by Simone Corsi, Tasca Racing is ready for the fifth round of the Moto2 season. It’s the turn of France and the historic Le Mans circuit, for an event capable of breaking the 200,000 spectator threshold in 2017. Simone Corsi’s tradition on the 4,185-meter track that winds its way through the Sarthe region is excellent, with the number 24 able to finish in the top-10 five times since 2010, the year Moto2™ was born, with three podium finishes and a 2nd position in 2016 as his best personal result. Federico Fuligni faces the race in the same conditions as in Qatar, Argentina and the United States, that is, without ever having taken his two wheels to this track. However, this does not intimidate the rookie, who is ready for overtime in order to confirm the excellent performance of Jerez de la Frontera.
“After a good race in Jerez I feel ready to face a Grand Prix on a track that is once again new to me. I will work hard to be ready already on Friday so that I can be as close as possible to the other riders. And as in all races I will give 100% to bring home the best possible result” Fuligni explained.
“I am happy to be back on track this weekend,” Corsi added.
Le Mans is a circuit I really like and where it is always nice to race. In the last two races my feeling with the bike has improved a lot, the hard work of the whole team is taking shape. But this weekend we need to take another decisive step forward”.
