The Coppa Italia round of 16 finals kicks off today, with knockout matches in a dry game and all visible on free-to-air television. On the pitch Tuesday Cagliari-Frosinone, Udinese-Palermo and Milan-Lecce; Wednesday will be the turn of Parma-Spezia, Verona-Venezia and Como-Sassuolo; Thursday will conclude with Genoa-Empoli and Torino-Pisa.

Max Allegri has made it clear that he does not want any slumps because it is crucial for the Rossoneri to stay in the race in the competition, also because they are not playing in Europe. In case of a draw at the end of the 90 minutes, it will go directly to penalties without extra time: the Diavolo’s helmsman wants to avoid such a dangerous epilogue.

Di Francesco’s Lecce do not arrive at the Meazza in high spirits after three league defeats in a row, the first of which was against the meneghini but at home.

Teams on the pitch at 9 p.m.

Probable lineups

Milan (3-5-2) Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Ricci, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Gimenez, Nkunku. All. Allegri

Lecce (4-3-3) Falcone; Veiga, Tiago Gabriel, Gaspar, Ndaba; Kaba, Berisha, Kovac; Banda, Camarda, N’Dri. All. Di Francesco
