Serie C, round A: the probable formations of Union Brescia-Novara

On the sixth day of Group A of Serie C, the calendar offers a confrontation that on Thursday evening promises excitement: at 8:45 p.m., at the Mario Rigamonti Stadium, Union Brescia will take on Novara.
The Lombard formation led by Aimo Diana is going through a very good moment of form. After their debut defeat against Arzignano, they strung together four victories in a row –against Trento, Pro Vercelli, Renate and Giana Erminio – which immediately took them to the upper reaches of the standings. The ‘Rondinelle’ are performing in all aspects: solid defense, tidy midfield and effective attack, with Maistrello already the author of four goals.
Novara, on the other hand, is still looking for its first success of the season. The Piedmontese have collected four draws and one defeat in their last outing, the heartfelt derby lost at home to Pro Vercelli. However, Andrea Zanchetta’s lineup has shown good mental resilience, managing to stay in the game at all times, but the standings now demand a change of pace: with only four points put on the board, it’s time to turn things around.
Probable lineups
Union Brescia (3-5-2): Gori; Silvestri, Pasini, Rizzo; Cisco, Balestrero, Zennaro, Di Molfetta, De Maria; Maistrello, Vido. All. Diana.
Novara (4-4-2): Boseggia; Valdesi, D’Alessio, Bertoncini, Lorenzini; Basso, Malaspina, Collodel, Agyemang; Donadio, Da Graca. All. Zanchetta.
