Pro Recco narrowly succumbed 15-14 in Budapest in a stellar challenge and had to abdicate against the Magyar European champions, who won the sixth European Super Cup in their history.

At the Komjadi, Sandro Sukno’s side, four league titles and two Champions Leagues from 2021/2022 to date at the helm of the Biancocelesti, already holders of the Euro Cup, play a great final all in recovery after the initial 4-1.

Buric and Granados lead the biancoceleste attack that climbs back up to Cassia&#8217s fairytale 12-11 lead.

Then the irresistible Fekete (mvp with four goals) and super Mandic assisted by the indestructible Manhercz (four goals for him as well) decide the match in a final where Vamos stamps the winning goal with one minute to go.
