World Cup Qualification 2026: Sweden-Switzerland, the likely lineups

The 8:45 p.m. kickoff for Sweden’Switzerland, a match valid for the third day of Group B of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in North America. The Scandinavians have only one point after their first two matches and need to unlock themselves against the Swiss, currently first in the group with two wins in two matches against Slovenia and Kosovo. The Red Swiss national team has yet to concede any goals.

Sweden with Isak and Gyokeres the luxury tandem in attack; on the flanks are Bernhardsson and Svensson, in the middle Larsson, Ayari and Saletros.

Hosts with the offensive trident consisting of Ndoye, Embolo, Vargas. In the midfield Freuler along with Xhaka and Manzambi, the full-backs are Widmer and Rodriguez.
