Another newly-promoted team for UNA Hotels Reggio Emilia: after the success in the opener against Udine, it is ready to get back on the court for the second day of the Serie A Unipol, with a challenge scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. at PalaDesio against an’Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù eager to redeem itself after the drubbing in Trento.

“We will face a team that comes from a bad defeat, we will have to be ready first of all from a mental point of view, even before talking about the basketball aspect of the match – said Red and White coach Dimitris Priftis -. When you suffer a defeat by a wide margin you don&#8217t have a good week and the next game you find yourself fighting for your dignity. Cantù is a team that plays at a high pace: controlling rebounds and especially not conceding easy chances in transition will be key.”

“We worked well, it was a week without any particular problems, in which we were able to fine-tune some situations – added the Greek -. We asked to play at noon in order to better organize logistically the FIBA Europe Cup trip that awaits us next week: however, it is not a big news, we have done it before and by now all teams train at that time.”
