Ezra Manjon is changing teams again

Ezra Manjon’s stint with Bertram Derthona has come to an end after just one season. The American point guard has decided to continue his career in Greece, where he will play for Kolossos Rhodes, a team that will compete in the upcoming Basketball Champions League.
The player’s stint in Piedmont was marked by more lows than highs, with his potential emerging only in flashes due to numerous physical issues that limited his playing time and performance. After arriving in Tortona following his stint with Ludwigsburg in Germany, Manjon finished the Serie A season averaging 6.7 points and 2.2 assists per game during the regular season.
What compromised much of his season was, above all, an injury to the long adductor muscle in his left thigh sustained early in the season, a muscle injury that forced him to stay off the court for several weeks and inevitably slowed his development within the Bianconeri’s program.
A new chapter now begins for Manjon in Greece, playing for Kolossos Rhodes. The Greek club is not entirely new on the European scene: during the 2024–25 season, American center Nick McGlynn also played for them; after his stint in Rhodes, he went on to play for Dziki Warsaw in Poland before joining Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari in Serie A. This trajectory demonstrates how the Greek club often serves as a springboard to more prominent stages.
Participating in the Basketball Champions League will give Manjon the opportunity to compete at the highest level in Europe—an important test for a player who will need to regain consistency and physical health after the muscle injuries that hampered him last season.
