Milan, only a draw in full recovery against Pisa

Surprise draw for AC Milan, which at San Siro did not go beyond a 2-2 draw against Pisa in the first advance of the eighth day of Serie A and thus moved only +2 ahead of Inter and Napoli, engaged in a direct clash on Saturday night.

The Rossoneri immediately unlocked the result in the 7th minute with a right-footed shot by Leao from outside the box. Allegri’s team never really came close to doubling the score and early in the second half they conceded the Tuscan equalizer: newcomer Cuadrado got himself (De Winter’s hand foul) and himself converted the 1-1 penalty.

Milan woke up, hit a crossbar with Leao while Saelemaekers was denied a double. On the’other side Nzola, however, did not fail and signed the’incredible 2-1 for the Tuscans.

In full recovery Athekame, with a conclusion from the distance, at least avoided defeat for the Rossoneri with the 2-2. On 99′ a shot again by Saelemaekers cleared the post.
