Choirs and applause for Jannik Sinner's training with Carlos Alcaraz

“Sinner, Sinner, Sinner”: with this chorus, accompanied by applause and shouts, the world number 1 was greeted by the audience at the center court of the Inalpi Arena, where he was training with Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

The two entered the court together, side by side, chatting and joking. A few hundred people were in the stands, including many school children and families, even with babies as young as a few months old, ready to cheer on the home idol.

As in a real match every exchange, every point of the two champions are greeted with applause, granted not only to the’idol of cada but also to the’opponent of the blue. Just the latter, leaving the court in the foyer after the first practice had not shirked the ritual of autographs on tennis balls requested by some young people.

And a real ovation broke out at the end of the practice on the center court, which ended with the two tennis players embracing and the Spaniard sending the audience into raptures with the traditional throwing of autographed balls into the stands.
