ATP Finals, Felix Auger-Aliassime folds Ben Shelton in comeback.

World No. 8 Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada beat Ben Shelton of the United States by a score of 4-6 7-6 7-5 in the third match of the group named after Bjorn Borg, the one where Jannik Sinner is, of the ATP Finals in Turin, the second for both players.

Shelton is the first to break at 2-1 in his favor in the first set and then goes 4-1 and 5-2, here, however, he loses seven consecutive points and gives up his serve at 15 when he is serving for the set at 5-3, but in the next game he snatches the serve again from Auger-Aliassime forfeiting the partial.

The only break point of the second set is saved by the Canadian at 4-3 for the American. It goes to the tie-break: Shelton loses the first point with his serve, Auger-Aliassime goes 3-0, 4-1 and 5-2, on 6-4 he has two set points but does not materialize them, he has two more on 7-6 and 8-7 and this last one is the good one.

For the first eleven games of the third set, the only break points are the two consecutive ones saved by Shelton in the fourth game, then the match is decided at 6-5 for Auger-Aliassime, who breaks the U.S. on the third match point after 2 hours and 25 minutes of play.
