ATP ranking: Jannik Sinner moves closer to Carlos Alcaraz

After his triumph at the ATP Finals, Jannik Sinner is closing in on Carlos Alcaraz in the fight for the top spot in the ATP ranking that has seen the Spaniard prevail this season. The Murcian finished with 12,050 points, while the South Tyrolean stopped at 11,500, 550 less.
Behind the two phenomena of world tennis practically a vacuum: in third place was Alexander Zverev with 5160 points, less than half of those accumulated by Jannik, followed by Novak Djokovic, fourth with 4830, and Felix Auger-Aliassime, who gained three positions after reaching the semifinals in Turin.
He also drops one place to Lorenzo Musetti, eliminated in the group at the ATP Finals, who ends the year in eighth place with 4,040 points, 95 less than Taylor Fritz and Alex De Minaur, sixth and seventh respectively. Closing out the top 10 are Ben Shelton and Jack Draper.
Finally, as for the Italians, Flavio Cobolli finishes 22nd, Luciano Darderi 26th, and Lorenzo Sonego 39th. Out of the top 50 is Matteo Berrettini, in 56th place, while Matteo Arnaldi is at position number 73. Also in the top 100 are Mattia Bellucci, 74th, and Luca Nardi, 87th.
