Dusan Vlahovic, who injured his left adductor during last Saturday’s match between Juventus and Cagliari, underwent surgery in London this afternoon. This was announced by the Juventus club itself through an official statement: “This afternoon Dusan Vlahovic underwent surgery to repair the tendon avulsion of the left adductor. The surgery, performed by the team of Prof. Ernest Schilders and Rowena Johnson, in the presence of club doctor Marco Freschi, at Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London and Wellington Hospital was perfectly successful and from tomorrow the player will start the rehabilitation program”.

Vlahovic can sign with another club from February 1, his contract with Juventus is expiring in 2026.
The Serbian center forward seemed to be on the sidelines under Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor, then he found himself.

Vlahovic returned to prominence first with Massimo Brambilla and then with Luciano Spalletti.
Juve proposes an 8 million euro per season renewal, well below the player’s demands.
The club can no longer afford 10-12 million salaries for locker room balances.
Vlahovic is aiming for a top salary and a substantial signing bonus.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United have already shown interest in the Serbian.
Simeone’s Atletico Madrid is also closely following the situation of the center forward.

Barcelona monitors Vlahovic ahead of separation from Robert Lewandowski.
Massimiliano Allegri would like to return to coach the Slavic at Milan.
Giorgio Chiellini said: "For us, he is and remains a Juventus player".
Chiellini made it clear that doors remain open on both sides for the future

The Serbian striker will be out for at least three months, missing as many as 26 games including five big matches as well as for the possible Champions League playoffs, scheduled for mid-February. Vlahovic could return to coach Luciano Spalletti&#8217s disposal in early April for the home match with Genoa, after the national team break at the end of March in which Italy will be involved in the playoffs to enter the World Cup. But the bad news for the Juventus coach is not over: in the Coppa Italia match with Udinese, in fact, Federico Gatti, who suffered a meniscus injury, also stopped.

“Federico Gatti, who was substituted during the second half of the Juventus-Udinese match following a distorsive injury to his right knee, underwent radiological examinations at J|medical this morning. Instrumental examinations showed an injury to the medial meniscus, such that surgery will be necessary and will be performed in the coming days” reads the note. Big headaches then for Spalletti, who is awaiting matches that could have colossal specific weight for his Juventus ambitions in the continuation of the season. As much in Serie A as in Europe.

Dusan Vlahovic’s injury could also have repercussions on the Juventus market, which in January seemed willing to consider possible offers for Jonathan David. The Canadian former Lille man is struggling mightily with the Juventus shirt and there seemed to be a number of Premier League clubs on his trail, but Vlahovic’s trouble, if a long stop is confirmed, could stop everything. In this scenario Jonathan David would stay in Turin to try to play his cards and he would certainly have more chances to do so given precisely the lack of competition from Vlahovic. The Canadian would have to play it out with Loïs Openda but Juventus commitments could guarantee both a good amount of minutes.
