Racist insults to Adhu Malual, measures coming.

Feminine Volleyball League President Mauro Fabris has commented harshly on the incident of racist insults against Wash4Green Monviso Volley player Adhuoljok Malual during the match against Macerata: “What happened on Saturday night during the women’s Serie A1 championship match between Wash4Green Monviso Volleyball and Cbf Balducci Hr Macerata, as reported today by Adhu Malual, who was also apostrophized with racist expressions commenting on her performance on the court, is totally unacceptable”.
“As Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile we condemn such behavior and express solidarity with the athlete and her family. We will ask for the intervention of the League judge to verify what happened and we will ask the Federation to inquire with the referees, who were present on the court, for their judgment on the facts””
As the League Volleyball Women’s Series A, we express our solidarity with the athlete and her family.
“In any case, we believe that Monviso Volleyball will be able to identify those responsible for this unworthy affair and prohibit them from entering the arena in the future. The League has always fought incidents of racism, intolerance and violence, verbal and otherwise”.
“Athletes from all over the world, from 40 different nations, with different religious beliefs and cultures, play in our league, with no such incidents ever occurring. Ours is the most beautiful league in the world also because it has been able to enhance each of these extraordinary athletes”.
