Roma market, three have not convinced: they have their bags already packed

Gasperini has always been a very direct coach. His way of being is non-negotiable with anything or anyone. With the January market now just around the corner, here is where the Giallorossi coach has expressed, in a clear manner, several judgments on the current squad, indicating what needs to be improved and who, in this Roma growth project, does not have the necessary characteristics to be part of it. In particular, there would be three players rejected by Gasperini and, as a result, destined to leave the capital in January.

The first “flunked” is Ferguson. “Evan is not convincing me and I did not like him even in the final, not because of a technical issue. He didn&#8217t get into this spirit and like him some other new acquisitions. We did not serve Dybala or SoulĂ© well, but they have a much higher technical quality. We can’t even compare them since,” the clear words of the Giallorossi coach. For Evan Ferguson, the match with Juventus may have been his last in a Giallorossi shirt. Having arrived from Brighton, he may return sooner than expected.

Also not looking good from a Giallorossi perspective is Bailey. The Jamaican is unable to contribute on a continuous basis, also and above all because of the continuous discomfort at the physical level that is affecting his performance. The one remedied with Torino, is the third stop of the season. In fact, he has already missed 12 matches out of 22 total. It is a situation that is becoming complicated to manage with Gasperini who would prefer players “healthy and enlisted”. In short, even Bailey could soon say goodbye to the capital and go to play elsewhere.

Finally, Tsimikas is also disappointing expectations. By now he is finished behind Angelino and Rensch, so much so that he has not seen the field for quite some time now. He too, like the other two, arrived on loan (from Liverpool). The feeling is that a solution is being sought away from Rome.

In short, three players who seem to have run out of credit in the Giallorossi. To this there&#8217s the question of what Massara, Roma&#8217s market man, will do. To sell all three seems complicated but, surely, someone will not remain in Gasperini’s employ at the end of the winter market.
